The Bendigo EcoLiving Centre at PepperGreen Farm is launching a wonderful new environmental education experience designed to Connect! our lives and values to the natural world that sustains us – a world where everything is connected.

Students are detectives, presenters and team players. They will work in groups, alone and in pairs. Like nature itself, Connect! engages all the senses and intelligences.
We know from research that young people have a negative vision of their environmental future. Connect! is fun, inspires hope and imagination and a way forward to a sustainable future.

Preparing for 2010? Sustainability education on the agenda?
‘Connect!’ is a complete VELS unit of study based on the enquiry approach and designed by Bendigo’s own environmental educator Ian McBurney from Live Ecological (and formerly the premier environmental education outfit Vox Bandicoot). Teachers will be pre visit materials and activities to complete at school to allow for the consolidation of learning post excursion.
