BENDIGO PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE
Permaculture provides principles and tools for creating a sustainable human existence. If you are seeking a more sustainable lifestyle, wanting to produce your own food, or are seeking positive solutions to the environmental problems that surround us, join us for a Permaculture Design Course in Bendigo! This course will be run in Semester Two 2010, on Thursday evenings and every second Sunday (excluding school holidays). The cost for this course is $550.
We will cover the principles and practices of permaculture and how you can apply these to your daily life. Topics include: Permaculture Ethics & Principles; Large & Small Scale Food Growing Strategies; Economic & Social Permaculture; Plants & Ecology; Reading the Landscape; Patterns in Nature; Climates & Microclimates; Soils and Soil Improvement; Water; Site Assessment; Design strategies; School and Community Gardens. There will also be a range of fieldtrips to working permaculture properties, both large and small scale, in Central Victoria.
This course can also be undertaken as part of the Nationally Accredited Certificate III in Permaculture; contact us for more details.
